COVID-19: Bishop Oyedepo Makes Donation

In time past, the Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel International) founded by Bishop David Oyedepo has been of tremendous benefit to the federal government of Nigeria in terms of supporting infrastructural developments, education, health sector and several donations towards ensuring a near-perfect experience of comfortable living for the masses.

On the occasion of the pandemic, Bishop Oyedepo has once again extended his philanthropic hand towards the Ogun and Lagos state governments to effectively combat this social menace as well as an enemy of humanity.

To support this movement, yet another donation of relief materials and items to residents of the two states with which the church’s permanent site has a boundary with has commenced, to join hands with the world and completely clear-off the problem currently ravaging the world.

Bishop Oyedepo said, items and relief materials are for the Lagos State Government and Ogun State Government to help poor citizens of the states come to terms with this lockdown, keep to it as well as not completely distort their daily feeding plan as we fight the COVID-19 scourge.

Ambulances, Test Kits, Food items were supplied to the states.

Food Items include 400 bags of rice, 150 bags of beans, 400 bags of garri, 500 gallons of vegetable oil.

The medical/health resources donated are two state-of-the-art ambulances with capacity for first aid, test and treatment of those infected or on emergency resulting from the infection. Test kits include 20 cartons of latex hand gloves (10 boxes per carton), 10 cartons of disposable face masks (40 boxes per carton), 40 pieces of the infrared thermometer (gun-shaped type), 500 pieces of personal protective device (PPE) Hazmat suit, two boxes of the pulse oximeter (10 per box), and two cartons of blood pressure monitor (10 per carton).

Bishop Oyedepo stressed that the church as a body would continuously render medical, material and most importantly spiritual assistance to the government and people until victory is attained. He added that these acts of giving sacrificially and selflessly has been a huge part of the ministry under his leadership.

The church worldwide has a long history of being a giver though not in the habit of broadcasting her good works for recognition or praise of men. All the same, these works still finds its way to the press. He believes in the God that sees secretly and rewards openly.
