Kate Onah and Emmanuel Ngbede are passionate Nigerians which are selflessly rendering humanitarian service to the poor.
Kate Onah is an award-winning radio host, who from her salary has swept off hunger from the stomach of the poor and also provided free medical services whenever she organises vocational skill workshop and tags is important to do so because most people lack funds to settle medical bills. She has empowered over 200 women for vocational training.
On the other hand, Emmanuel Ngbede is an Artist, who had quite a tough upbringing for a child. According to him, they couldn’t afford three square meal while growing up. So he said to himself if I am suffering this bad, how much more those on the street. He vowed to be an Ambassador to the poor and made it a goal to feed 200 people on a daily basis.
He said: “We had difficulty in feeding. Getting three square meal was quite difficult. So on my own, I looked at it and said ‘really? If we can really suffer that much, how much more people on the street?’ So I had that covenant with God that I would grow up to be an ambassador for the poor.”
