The Research.com team has awarded Nigeria’s associate professor, Kolade Owolabi of the Federal University Technology Akure FUTA as the best mathematician in its second edition of the assessment.
After rigours data consolidated from various data sources including OpenAlex and CrossRef mathematics-based research of 6,262 applicants, just two Nigerians identified as Kolade Owolabi and Charles Chidume of the African Institute of Science and Technology, are the only Nigerians found on a ranking of global scale.
The aim of the Research.com organisation is to inspire scholars, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers worldwide to explore where leading experts are heading and to provide an opportunity for the entire scientific community to discover who the leading experts are in specific fields of research, in different countries, or even within research institutions.
The elated vice chancellor, Adenike Oladiji, applauded Mr Owolabi for portraying the institution’s core values, which is research intensive with global research.
