Olusegun Adeniyi, a Nigerian journalist has been receiving praises on social media for his selfless service to humanity
The man has built a school in his neighbourhood for children whose parents can not afford education and his wife teaches the children.
The school was built beside his house in Abuja and about 70 children are being taught for free.
A Nigerian journalist and former presidential spokesman, Olusegun Adeniyi has warmed the hearts of people on social media by building a school for poor kids in his area.
Adeniyi noticed that the children in his neighbourhood were not attending schools so he made the decision to build a school for them beside his house
In his words:
“He noticed that there were so many children living in the shanties around, who do not attend schools, so he put up a small shack on one of the lands nearby.
“The shack is growing. The children could be as many as 70 now. They all attend school for free. I was touched.”
The journalist’s wife takes time from her job to supervise and teach the children
