The outcome of hard work can only be proven with results. Many at times, it is not enough to wish but rather work towards turning it to reality.
Tega Adigu is a 22-year-old Nigerian and former student of the Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. He is a Warri born from Delta State, a writer and an optimist.
On September 14th, 2013 at One World Hotel, Tega was announced to have graduated as one of the first-class students with a double honour as the overall best graduating student out of 122graduands in the occasion.
He delivered a speech at the ceremony expressing his feeling on being first, a first-class graduate and then the overall best graduating student. In his words, “Honestly it was like a dream come true! It is something I’ve always worked for. Although I sometimes get teased as a geek but honestly graduating with a first-class is like reaping what I’ve sown. I feel really happy that I can at least put a smile not only on my face but to a special person (My Mother) who has always been there. I feel excited and I honestly can’t find the right words to describe how I feel.”
We celebrate focus and doggedness in one person.
