Sunday Adelaja Makes Name for Nigeria

 Adelaja is a Journalist by profession. He is a multiple-author who has written books in different languages. He is a minister of the gospel, founder and senior pastor of the Embassy of the blessed kingdom of God for all Nations, an evangelical charismatic megachurch and a Christian denomination in Kiev, Ukraine.

Sunday Adelaja is a married man of 53years with 3kids. He has founded many educational institutions connected to his church.

In May 2004, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Holland Mission gave a Special Appreciation to Pastor Sunday Adelaja for being part of what God is using His church to do in reaching out to the people of the Netherlands.

In July 2006, Pastor Sunday was honoured to be on a first-page article of the Wall Street Journal dated July 21st, 2006.

In March 2007, Sunday Adelaja became an Honorable Member of the Euroasian International Chamber of Commerce.

In April 2007, Pastor Sunday was honoured to open the U.S. Senate in prayer on April 23, 2007.

In August 2007, Pastor Sunday was honoured to speak twice at the United Nations on August 23, 2007.

In March 2008, the Archbishop Benson Idahosa Prize for Missionary Exploits was presented to Rev. Sunday Adelaja in recognition of his missionary exploits and social engagement in Kiev, Ukraine and around the world.

In 2009, Sunday Adelaja received the first International William J. Seymour Award at the Azusa Street Revival Festival on Saturday, April 25, 2009. This award is given to ministers who exhibit the characteristics of William J. Seymour.

In 2010, he qualified to be listed in the Ukraine list of Most Influential Expatriates by the Kyiv Post newspaper.

In 2019, he won the face of kiev poll by Afisha Magazine.
