Over 1,000 Nigerian’s lives Saved At No Cost

Pains were turned to passion, challenges came to change(save) many, the poor can enjoy good health. This is the driving force behind Dr Benjamin Oluwatosin Adesoji who almost lost his life due to a fatal accident which resulted in multiple injuries and severe damage to his femur in 2016.

After passing through the storms of the accident, Dr Ben made it a commitment help 5000 indigent citizens in need of life-saving surgery free of charge. That includes Fibroids, Breast Lumps, Lipomas and Hernias. Dr Ben is a surgeon. He founded a foundation named Benjamin Olowojebutu Foundation (B.O.F) with the vision of changing the healthcare space using love and compassion as focal points.

On the basis of his foundation, a woman who was diagnosed with fibroid for 9 years walked on the streets of Lagos selling pure water without help. In a pregnant state (as people taught she was), she was rejected by several hospitals due to the delicate nature of her health.

7.9kg fibroid was successfully removed from her body by Dr Ben.”Thanks, Dr Ben for making me feel brand new” she said.

In 2019, on Governor Babagide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s 100th day in office. Dr Ben gave a speech directed towards the 100 in 100 projects carried out by B.O.F. The intension of the project is to carry out 100 surgeries in collaboration with the Lagos State government. According to him, in the last 9 months, BOF has visited 11 states and has carried out 1703 surgeries. He also said Lagos is the first state to partner with B.O.F and he believes other states will follow suit
