Offor Foundation Supports FG with Medical Facilities Across Medical Institutions In Nigeria.

Emeka Offor is a Nigerian man who was born in Kafachan, Kaduna, Nigeria. He hails from Irefi Oraifite in Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State, Nigeria. He is a business mogul, oil magnate and mindblowing philanthropist by act and by heart. According to nigerianinfopedia.com, He has a net worth of 5.8billion dollars. He established Offor Foundation many years back in the 90s.

Offor Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization who got registered under the Companies and Allied Matters Act in 2006. The organization was founded with a mission to help people become independent and self-sufficient. This has since had a meaningful impact in the lives of several Nigerians through its programs and projects which cuts across youths, widows, health, education, infrastructures etc.

This foundation has partnered with several other organization, local and international, in a bid to make more impacts. Offor carries out all his goodwill contributions through this foundation.

Recently, the aim of the foundation extended to supporting the federal government in the provision of quality healthcare service and education to the citizens.

As a testament to his good works, Emeka Offor’s Chief of Staff, AIG Chris Ezike mentioned salient movement embarked on by the foundation in an interview with newsmen.

Offor donated a million-dollar to Rotary Foundation during the polio pandemic. A press release stated:

“His total contribution to Rotary International for the fight against Polio currently stands at $3.1m today. The Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF) is a household name in philanthropy as robust, responsive and sustainable initiatives aimed at complementing Government’s efforts are rolled out from time to time for the betterment of the society.”

In line with his support to education, 80 Universities, 22 Polytechnics, 37 Colleges of Education, 7 Public Libraries (one from each of the six geo-political zones including FCT), 180 primary and secondary schools nationwide have received their support materials benefitted from the first phase of books recently distributed by the Foundation.

To attest to that is the record of many dignitaries present and represented at the event which held in Abuja. Some of which are: President Muhammadu Buhari, Governors of Edo and Abia states were represented; Governor Muhammad Yahaya of Gombe state, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah (YPP Anambra South) and representatives of both the Chief of Army staff and the Director-General of State Security Service (SSS) were ably present.

Very recently, the foundation embarked on yet another laudable project of donation healthcare facilities to medical institutions across the nation.14 hospitals and medical institutions spread across the country who benefitted from the benevolence include Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Teaching Hospital Awka, Anambra State; Police Hospital, Abuja; National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu; University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, Maiduguri, Borno state; General Hospital Daura, Katsina state; Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State; Federal Medical Centre, Katsina, Katsina State and Gombe State Specialist Hospital, Gombe, Kebbi State Medical Centre, Kalgo, Kebbi State; Nigeria Police Force; Nigeria Army; Ogun State Hospital, Ilaro, Ogun State; Central Hospital, Benin City, Edo State; General Hospital, Oraifite, Anambra State and one container reserved for Emergency Deployment.
