Nigeria’s First Locally Made Luxury Sports Car Produced by 25-Year Old Nigerian

Jerry Isaac Mallo is an ambitious young man in his late twenties. Born in Plateau State to his Nigerian parents. He had his education in Nigeria up till secondary school level.

He later became a Fabrication Engineer who designed a fuelless generator and prototype car. When asked, he says his aspiration is to become the Bill Gates of Africa whether through his innovations or wealth acquired legitimately.

Being from an average family, Mallo didn’t get to study in a higher institution. However, after his first innovation, fuelless generator, and prototype car, his fame traveled across the border to meet a rich man named Prof. Bogoro who sponsored his university education after seeing his potentials. This gave him a superior chance to study his dreams at the University of Hertfordshire, London. Unfortunately, he didn’t graduate from this school due to reasons best withdrawn from the public.

Despite all these predicaments, his quest to attain his foreseen enviable status wasn’t quenched. After a while studying the market lucratively, he ventured into agriculture which later became the basis for which he founded Bennie Technology Limited, a machine design, fabrication & manufacturing company that simplifies local agricultural processes by mechanization & automation.

Putting his innovation skills into his company, he has invented several farm machinery including tractors, grinding machines, cassava peelers, and others, all to customers’ specifications using locally fabricated tools which qualified him for Nation Micro Small Medium Enterprise Award in 2018 amongst other laudable traits.

In 2019, Mallo decided to daze us as he unveiled Nigeria’s first luxury sports car designed and built by him.

In a video interview with Mallo, he revealed that the material used for the invention was carbon fiber chosen for its characteristics such as safety, high quality, shock-absorbing capacity, inability to fold easily when an external force is applied. This, he said will reduce further harm on vehicle occupants in the case of fatal accidents.

Mallo disclosed that getting a sponsor has been his major challenge and he was glad to pull this huge feat despite all. He also acknowledged that though the project was his idea he didn’t get to actualize it all alone, he recruited vibrant minds like himself who helped him achieve the brilliant project.

The sports car named “Bennie Purrie” was unveiled at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja

This success achieved in one is enough to postulate that it’s just a matter of time before they launch more inventions and we cannot wait to have them.

This is incredible and highly commendable!
