Nigerian Lady Bags Distinction From a UK University

They say, bad news has a way of flying faster than good news but Ololade Adetifa’s success has flown all out on social media because of its uniqueness.

Ololade Adetifa had her first degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering at Afe Babalola University Ado Ekiti.

In a bid for a step higher, she traveled to Scotland for her master’s in drilling engineering at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Ololade Adetifa’s success was laudable because she excelled in a male-dominated field. Ololade Adetifa mentioned that her success was spurred by others.

She announced her win on LinkedIn, “I have gone through several LinkedIn profiles in the last few days since the year started and felt so many emotions; from overwhelming pride for some individuals to feeling underachieved and needing to pinch myself out of it.

I went through the profiles in the hope of revamping my personal summary as I have been told I do not sell myself as well as I should and I have come to the conclusion that this year, I will sell myself better, give myself a pat for minor and major achievements, motivate others, mentor others and get a mentor in my field.
So first off; I am Ololade Adetifa, a graduate of Electrical Electronics Engineering from the prestigious Afe Babalola University Ado Ekiti and now, I have a Master’s degree in Drilling and Well Engineering from the reputable Robert Gordon University Aberdeen. I guess I should also add that I made a Distinction to the Glory of God.”
