The president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa made the announcement of the appointment of Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala as a member of the country’s economic advisory council at a second meeting of the council where he formally introduces the former Nigeria Finance Minister to the council.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has expanded the economic advisory council with this appointment, The council headed by the president comprises of local and international gurus, The president speaking at the meeting said they have been working in the intervening period and will be making presentations soon.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice president Atiku and Ben Murray Bruce have all congratulate Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on the appointment and they see this as proof that Nigerians are global and our capacity is an asset that can be exported.
