Ufot Ufot Ekong is a young man in his late twenties. He is a man with the utmost integrity and dignity. He is a twin, son of Late Captain Ufot Udo, an Airline Pilot. Ufot(Jnr) hails from Akwa Ibom State.
He enrolled in Tokai University, Japan after a year of studying Japanese. He bagged first-class world standard honours in Electrical Engineering. He has won the BEST graduating Student with an outstanding GPA. He also won an award for the President’s Prestigious Award, Best Graduating Student, naming him first African to achieve the feat.
Ufot(Jnr) is a focused self-sponsored student who despite his involvement and engagements in extracurricular activities to pay off tuition fees was able to come out in flying colours. Till date, he has won 6awards inside and outside the school.
He broke a record during research with his research team members by solving an electrical problem involving mathematics. According to him, his entire research team is not allowed to discuss details of academic research, patents and trade secrets as it regards electric vehicles. They are constrained by a confidentiality agreement not to discuss such projects.
However, we celebrate this gallant feat and hope that he blazes more trail.
