He started drawing and painting at the age of six and with consistency and practice, Kareem Waris Olamilekan’s work is not far from perfect.
In 2018 Olamilekan gained global recognition after he drew a French President; Emmanuel Macron who came visiting Fela African Shrine. He drew President Macron in exactly two hours.
The President has been amazed at how beautiful and creative his work was made a short video of his work and tweeted it. That was where OLAMILEKAN became the title to top stories on social media.
He defeated 2,723 persons across the world and brought home Taiwan’s Chiu Ta- Kuan Cultural Education Foundation award.
