One would say keeping the environment clean is a thing for the government, while another will point it as the responsibility of the citizen. A Nigerian citizen identified as Joshua Egesi found it fun and creative keeping his environment clean particularly from the hazard of bottle covers.
Bottle covers can pose to be very messy to the environment especially when it’s stuck to the sand. But Joshua Egesi finds this as a blessing.
Egesi is a Uniben student who made the largest bottle cover portrait in Africa. He made the portrait with about 6,000 bottle covers.
The portrait shows the picture of Prof. Faraday Orumwense who was a former VC of Uniben.
Egesi has made several other artworks, but the Uniben VC’s portrait made him know. He presently works at Amore Media as the art director.
