This is the exact description of Mbagwu Johnpaul Chiagoziem success story. He was recently announced as the first class graduate from Imo State University. Mbagwu cracked a 37-year record of industrial physics department which existed without first-class graduate.
He said he senior colleagues motivated him to aspire towards the achievement of the first class. They kept on saying, nobody gets first-class in that department.
Instead of embracing fear, Mbagwu took a fight for what he believed can only be achieved by God’s grace. True to his belief, Mbagwu is now a first-class graduate.
Mbagwu gave kudos to Prof. T. C. Chineke who he tagged as pivotal to his success. He said Prof. T. C. Chineke will always tell him to aim for the first class and his reply will be, “Prof, by God’s grace I will break the record in this department.”
He graduated with a 4.51 of 5.0 CGPA. He also has 10 research papers to his achievement.
