In a bid to ease the struggles of Kwara citizens, Herculean Foundation supplied food items to Oke-Ode residents on Tuesday afternoon.
The items contain bags of rice, salts, and cash rewards, are meant for the residents of the community to ease themselves in the struggling economy.
In 2019, the foundation first visited the community and supplied them with seven motorized boreholes to ease their water struggles.
The foundation also provides eye care treatment for people with eye defects in the community.
Mr. Christopher Olusegun Ayodele Omotunde, the face of the foundation stated that the reason that embarked on the journey.
According to him, he is doing this to ease the struggles of his people and hopes everyone Nigerian can have a sustainable lifestyle to reduce poverty.
“The poverty rate in Nigeria is alarming and the people in rural environments are affected. They don’t have a lot of infrastructural development so we decided to make things easier for them by improving the social amenities, feeding, and health care system.
The foundation has also been to Omupo, Amoyo, Oreke, Oruago, Share, Ora, Babanloma, Idofian, Shagbe, Owode-Ofaru, and Offa, among other communities in Kwara State.
