Governor Babagana Umara Zulum Feeds 5000 Families In Borno State

The drastic increase in the price of goods and services especially foodstuff has left a lot of citizens in hunger. The hunger of the citizen was met at Governor Zulum’s visit to Jere Local Government Area on Thursday, 8th October 2020.

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum personally supervised the distribution of food items to Gongulong Lawanti, Khaddamari and Zabarmari which are the most populated communities at Jere LGA. At Gongulong Lawanti, 4000 families have a share of Governor Zulum’s food stuff distribution. While at khaddama, 1000 families benefited from the supply of foodstuff.

The comfort of citizens was also a matter of concern to Governor Zulum. He ordered the execution of three projects. One was the construction of Zabarmari- Maiduguri road, the other was the remodelling of the Primary Health Care Center and the construction of an additional school.
The incomplete construction of Gongulong Primary Health Care Center of Gov. kashim Shettima was part of the project to be completed.

He paid a morale boast visit to the troop at Jere LGA. He commended them for a job well done and acknowledged the sacrifices paid, to ensure the safety of citizens. In his appreciation to the troops, he donated a patrol vehicle to the military.
