The name of Dr Sola Robert has been written with gold on the history of NASA for his incredible invention.
The genius, Dr Robert Sola Okojie is an indigen of Uromi, Esan North-East local government area of Edo state from the great Ogbidi Okojie Clan. He has made his clan proud through his inventions. He has worked with NASA for over 20 years with 21 patented inventions to his credit.
According to Comrade Kingsley Ohens (The Executive Director Of Radio Esan and Deputy Editor of Esan News Magazine), Dr Robert Sola Okojie is a man worthy of emulation and encouraged youths to follow suit. He said,
“The entire Esan race most especially the vibrant youths are proud of Dr Robert Sola Okojie.
He has taken the Esan name far with his inventions in the Space Science. All these can only be achieved through hard works and dedication to his profession”, He also said there is nothing an Esan youth cannot achieve if only they work hard like Dr Okojie.
Aside from the NASA recognition, he was also recognised as the leading expert on silicon carbide-based microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) use in environments that are extreme.
