Elizabeth Ekeoseye is an indigen of Edo state who resides in Warri, Delta state. She did her primary school at Highquest Nursery and Primary School, Warri, Delta State, proceeded to Delta careers college for her secondary school education.
Her outstanding WAEC results (with an aggregate of 76.75) she thought will be able secure admission for medicine in UNILAG since there was no POST UTME that year. But sadly it wasn’t because it was below the score given to people from other states. She was admitted to study Zoology at UNILAG.
Elizabeth Ekeoseye was taught the culture of reading books at a tender age. Not regarding the cost, her father( who is late now) bought books and her mum read the books with her.
With reading as her hobby, she never saw studying as a stressful activity. She scaled through her four years on campus with just three B’s with 4.94 as her first GPA and 5.0 as her second year GPA both in her first and second semester. In her third year, she had a 4.96 GPA and eventually graduated with a 4.95 GPA.
She was indeed elated and encouraged other students that first class is achievable if God and smart reading is combined.
