A few days ago, a team consisting of doctors, anaesthetists and nurses of the Lagos State Teaching Hospital delivered a COVID-19 patient, aged 40years of a baby.
Amazingly, the baby weighs 3.3kg after birth and with all pleasure, both child and mother are faring well.
We commend the courageous act of these silent fighters and real warriors who have not relented until they end the spread of the virus. They have been a front line risk taker and have made our nation proud of its products once more.
While the woman still remains on medication, the child will be properly taken care of and we strongly hope and pray she recovers fast and eventually.
We shall battle covid_19 to win.
