BROKEN RECORD – Nigerian Girl becomes the Youngest Lawyer in Africa

Nigerian born genius, Joy Oluwagbemileke Jegede is an indigen of Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. She was born into the family of Pastor Olusola & Olubunmi Jegede, Who believed that every individual had their own gift, and hence she wasn’t forced to study any course outside her interest.

She loved the law and hence directed all her passion into the course and that kept her at the top of the ladder (her professions) at a very young age. At her late teens, she was working at one of the reputable law firms in Sierra Leone and was consulting on a regular basis with the best private consulting firms. And now Joy is presently undertaking her Masters at the London School of Economics as well as a programme for African Leadership.

Born on Sunday, March 01, 1998, to Pst. Olusola & Olubunmi Jegede.

•At 9 she wrote National Primary School Exams

•At age 12, she sat for Basic Education School Exams (BECE)

•At age 14 she sat for West Africa School Certificate Exams and came out with an outstanding result

• At age 14, she entered Universities (Two different Universities)

• At age 17 she graduated with 1st Division in Bachelors of Administration.

• At age 18, she graduated with First Class Honours in Law from Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone. 

• At age 20, she became a Lawyer and she became the youngest lawyer in Africa, and the second youngest lawyer in the world (from all available records).
