Okeke Stephanie, a strong Nigerian lady from Delta state, fixes Plaster of Paris (POP) overhead ceilings for a living.
She said that she was discouraged by her father and other people around her but she put in the effort and has done well for herself in that career path, now everyone who discouraged her is now proud of her.
Stephanie said she threaded the career path carefully despite the fact that she was discouraged at the beginning for wanting to do a “man’s job”
According to her, her family was not happy with her career path
They implored her to find something more feminine because
fixing the POP ceiling is not a woman’s job.
Stephanie continued to learn the skill and eventually became a professional, now her family is proud of her.
