MEET ALLEN I. ONYEMA, FOUNDER, AIR PEACE AIRLINE
Air Peace is a Nigerian Airline founded about 6years ago with the mission statement “your peace, our goal”. It has its head office in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. It was founded to provide passenger and charter services in major cities in Nigeria. As of 2019, it started going beyond Nigeria to serve neighboring African countries likes of South Africa, Gambia, Liberia, Ghana, and many others.
There are a number of controversy as to the Nigerian that founded this airline. In all, we can strongly say the man is Allen I. Onyema. His struggle, success story, and achievements are worthy of note and his person is worth associating with. The birth of this airline into the aviation world has changed the status of people and also set a path to success for everyone who wants to succeed in the business sector of Nigeria.
Allen Onyema was born in Benin-city, Edo state in the year 1964. His parents were from Anambra state. He had his primary education in Benin and secondary education in a Government College, Ughelli, Delta state. He graduated in 1984 with admission to study Law at the prestigious University of Ibadan, the same year.
It was during his undergraduate days that his vision was birthed. During that period, there was a fierce ethnic and religious riot in the North that claimed lives. This made him lead a group of nine other students to make a courageous journey to the city of Zaria. On their return, their fame spread and thus fueled his enthusiasm and led to the formation of a group known as “Eminent Friend’s Group” whose objectives was to promote ethnic harmony amongst diverse ethnics and fighting the insurgence of violence in all forms in Nigeria. He graduated from University in 1987 after which he established different branches of the organization in all states in the federation. As it is the practice of Graduate Law Student, He went to the Nigerian Law school, where he combined his studies with social activism centered on Peace in Nigeria. He was called to bar in 1989. Started his legal practice in 1990 with the Law firm of Nwizugho and Co. He became the Head of Chambers in 1992. He resigned to establish his own firm, Onyema, and Co.
He has lots of experience in real estate, properties from Onyema and co and Import Trade Outfit-Continental Business Links Limited in Nigeria and other regions of Nigeria. In continuation of his contributions to Nigeria is an organization he started based on his long-term vision called The Foundation of Ethnic Harmony (FEHN) in Nigeria that performs Transformational Training for violent people. The basis of the FEHN is to promote peace by reaching out to masses, giving peace education and principles as well as enlightening youths who are at the forefront of crisis in the world today.
Onyema is a bold, fearless and generous man who is full of integrity and a wonderful philanthropist. He is also a focused Visioneer who believes in showing up consistently with results. History has it that a discussion with his colleagues that one commercial Boeing could give jobs to 150 persons as part of his drive to getting into the aviation world. In his words, “If it was about profit, I would have kept the money in the banks and be getting double-digit interests on my investments”. Without mincing words, This man can be described as a peaceful individual who has the peace and convenience of others at heart. This is evident in all his engagements.

On learning about the exploits of various program organized by FEHN in the other region, they took the largest single sponsorship of 100 youths from all over the region for training both in Nigeria and South Africa.
√ FEHN provides pension payments for trainees who passed through his programs.
√ FEHN have sponsored soldiers who went abroad for training. Turned their intellectual direction diverting their thinking from violent practices and encouraging humane.
√ During the reoccurring Niger Delta crisis, Onyema together with FEHN trained and transformed 600 Niger Delta Youths.
√ In 2003, He facilitated the reconciliation during the Ethnic violence in Lagos and also intervened in the intermittent crises between the Yoruba and Hausa abattoir which brought it to an end.
√ Following the recent record of Xenophobic attack claiming the lives of Nigerians in South Africa. Onyema on 11 September 2019 volunteered his Air Peace Boeing 777 aircraft for the evacuation of about 187 Nigerians.
Over the years, Onyema through FEHN has resolved many crisis ranging from ethnic to religious to employment in Nigeria. Gained recognitions and Awards from international organizations for his massive impact on Nigeria.
