Adeoye Fawaz, The Nigerian boy who lived under the Oshodi Bridge Won a Trophy as a Chess Champion.

According to people, Tunde Onakoya is the CEO of Chess in Slum Africa, an organization that uses the game of chess to give many people a new beginning introduced Adeoye Fawaz to the game and since then been sharing the glory with him.

Tunde’s encounter with a boy with cerebral palsy many months ago got the attention of the media.

Adeoye Fawaz, the 18-year old chess champion who was mocked by his peers because of his medical condition has become the pride of his community.
His skills in the game of chess earned him the attention of Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Governor.

Since then, his life has had a new meaning and the rejected stone has become the cornerstone
That is the case with Fawaz.

According to a LinkedIn post by Abubakar B, it was revealed that Fawaz was crowned the winner among his opponents in a competition brought by the NGO.

The pictures which surfaced online showed Adeoye Fawaz in his traditional attire screaming with the trophy in his hands and medals around his neck.
